| Very soon, we might see Munaf and Sreesanth/RPS open the bowling and Irfan bowling at one-drop. With this slow pace and improving batting, he seems to be India's answer to Abdur Razzaq. Today was an off-day for the bowler definitely, but on pitches that offer no support, he is a sitting duck.

| Arguably, this was the best spell of fast bowling by an Indian for a long time. Munaf Patel produced 2-3 overs of blistering pace to Pieterson and Strauss, troubling them no end. This guy has been a real find for India in the recent times, probably better than RPS, Sreesanth.
